27,000 Trees for 2027 – Every Tree Has a Story

Scan a QR code, follow a journey.

By 2027, we will plant 27,000 trees across Libya, each carrying a unique QR code. This project is more than planting it’s awareness, accountability, and community pride. Every tree tells a story: where it grows, who planted it, and how it is nurtured.

One of our most important goals is to ensure trees survive and grow. Through QR-coded monitoring, we collect real-time data on survival rates, growth, and distribution. This prevents duplication, ensures transparency, and provides valuable insights for environmental planning in Libya.

Our mission connects climate action, youth empowerment, and sustainability. By engaging schools and communities, we are building a culture where protecting the environment becomes a shared responsibility.

We also operate a dedicated QR tracking platform that manages tree IDs, profiles, and analytics so every tree remains visible and accountable.

Our Roadmap

From pilot to nationwide impact

2025 Pilot in Schools

Planting combined with awareness sessions so students learn care and sustainability.

2026 Community Expansion

Extend to municipalities and public spaces, linking trees via QR codes into one network.

2027 Nationwide Rollout

27,000 QR-coded trees across Libya, shown on an interactive digital map.

Our Technique

Every tree has a digital profile

Unique QR + Profile

Scan to see species, planter, location, date, growth timeline and even a personal message. Students or families can adopt trees and share updates in a community space.

Transparent Monitoring

No duplication, measurable survival rates, and a growing national tree map powered by our tracking platform and analytics dashboard.

Aligned with the SDGs

Turning planting into measurable climate action

  • SDG 13 – Climate Action: Reduce CO₂ and fight desertification.
  • SDG 15 – Life on Land: Restore green cover and support biodiversity.
  • SDG 4 – Quality Education: Learn sustainability through awareness and action.
  • SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities & Communities: Healthier public spaces.
  • SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption & Production: Transparent monitoring prevents greenwashing.
  • SDG 17 – Partnerships: Schools, municipalities, and global partners.

Sustainability

Plant, protect, and help trees thrive

Smart Planting

Right species, water checks, and clear responsibility before planting begins.

Community Care

Students, families, and municipalities adopt trees with training and follow-up visits.

Monitoring & Data

QR codes track survival, growth, and distribution for real, measurable impact.

Long-Term Support

Native, drought-resistant species, municipal irrigation links, and CSR partnerships.

Schools & Awareness

Planting lessons that last

We begin with schools, where planting is combined with awareness sessions. By planting, naming, and caring for their trees, young people learn responsibility and sustainabilitygrowing a new generation of environmental leaders.
